Philosophy

"The Gift Of Caring"  That is our motto and it is symbolic of your profession.  As a massage therapist, you will administer care to your clients through your hands.  An ancient philosopher once said, "It is not wealth, nor ancestry, but honorable conduct and a caring heart, that make men great."

History

The genesis of HIMAC spans three decades to 1974.  We started as a massage establishment that was located in the Ala Moana Hotel.  At that time, the requirements for licensure was obtained primarily through apprenticeship programs.  In 1983, we added another method of licensing by chartering this school.  Our former name was All Hawaiian School of Massage.

  • Licensed by the Department of Education, State of Hawaii

Proven Track Record

"We've been there and done that."  Hundreds of students have passed through our doors.  Many have emulated our successful business practices and patented modality to open successful businesses of their own.  Several of our students have gone on to open massage therapy schools in Honolulu.
