THE 600 HOUR PROFESSIONAL MASSAGE THERAPY LICENSING PROGRAM Phase I: 160 hours of academic studies Call for starting dates. On-going classes. Classes are held Monday-Friday with weekends off. Students have the option of attending the day session (10:00am-2:00pm), or the night session (6:00pm-10:00pm). Phase II: 440 hours of practical training. Call for starting dates. On-going classes. Practical training is available seven days a week. After completing phase II, you may sit for the State of Hawaii Licensing Examination. State of Hawaii approved 600 hours Massage Therapy Licensing Program. Call us for current tuition.

 | Theory and Demonstration of Massage
 Students learn the proper procedure of massage concerning the protection of both client and massage therapist. Students will also learn about record keeping, hygiene, theory, technique for specific conditions, contraindications of massage, draping, and the assessment of the client's condition and the general technique to be applied. After completing this training, the student will be able to perform: - The basic theories for physiologic effects of massage methods and manipulations.
- To sequence massage methods and manipulations into basic flow patterns.
- A one hour full-body massage using the methods and manipulations, which we have presented below.
Learn our patented one-hour full-body massage. It combines Swedish (Classical Western Massage) with elements of Anmo (Chinese, Korean), Shiatsu (Japanese), and trigger point therapy (American). This modality reflects the cultural diversity which is unique to Hawaii. |
